Forex is traded in specific amounts called lots — basically the number of currency units you will buy or sell. A “lot” is a unit that measures a transaction amount. When you place orders on your platform, they are placed in sizes quoted in lots. Think of an egg carton: when you buy eggs you buy a carton, and one carton holds 12 eggs.
